The USA’s number one artificial nail company, Kiss Products have launched the brand new imPRESS by Broadway Nails range. Not only does this ‘press on polish’ raise the bar in the artificial nail industry, it’s caught the attention of the utterly gorgeous Nicole Scherzinger who is now spokeswoman for the brand.

We held a successful press day at London’s Home House in preparation for the nationwide launch. Keep your eyes peeled for press coverage this summer!

Every year, Alex Silver PR attends the Professional Beauty Excel in London’s Docklands Excel Centre. This year we were on hand to support Aussie angels Vani-T who were offering generous discounts on their professional tans and mineral make up ranges.

A firm favourite amongst celebs on both sides of the globe, it was great to see the team doing what the do best; bringing a bucket load of bronzed goddess glamour to the masses!

Not only did Vani-T hit up the trade shows in the UK and Italy this Spring, they also held a celeb-packed stand in the gifting suite at the Oscars!

When the Vani-T girls weren’t being hounded by Alex Silver PR with requests for Jake Gyllenhaal’s and Bradley Cooper’s phone numbers, they were adding golden glamour to the cast of hit comedy Bridesmaids, Mary Birdsong from acclaimed drama The Descendants, the pale and interesting cast of Twilight, 90210’s bombshell Anna Lynne McCord, and winner of ‘Best Film’, The Artist’s Penelope Ann Miller. Good work girls!

With Mother's Day just passed- and with us wanting to fully utilise the fact we have a brand spanking new website- we thought we'd put up a selection of images from our Mother's Day press event for your viewing pleasure! We took over swanky Knightsbridge cosmetic clinic HB Health and offer our lovely journalist friends and their gorgeous mums a full day of top to toe pampering.

Treatments on the day included Kiss manicures and eyelash enhancement, Vani-T with spray tans from tan supremo James Read and mineral make overs from beauty guru Jessica Karas, body contouring treatments, pedicures from Elaine Brand, hair styles by Saks Hair & Beauty, facials by Germain De Cappucini and Lava Shells, as well as tarot reading from professional intuitive to the stars, Kate Tomas, all topped off with a few glasses of retro bubbly courtesy of Babysham!

Meg Mathews Website Launch

Being a lifestyle guru can mean anything these days, but one woman who really knows her stuff is Meg Mathews. Interior designer, animal rights activist, rock chick and mother, Meg launched her own site, Megsays.com back in December with a star studded celeb bash at London hot spot Ni Ju San. Attendees included Kate Moss and Jamie Hince, Sadie Frost, James Brown, Melissa Odabash, Jodie Harsh Tamara Ecclestone and Millie Mackintosh. Drinks and nibbles came courtesy of Ni Ju San and included pan asian cuisine and scrumptious Snow Queen vodka cocktails.
